Privacy policy

This policy covers wellnessanimalhospital.com, run by Wellness Animal Hospital, with hospitals in Lakewood Ranch, White Eagle (Bradenton), Palmer Ranch (Sarasota), and Parrish, Florida. Information you share with us in person, by phone, or as part of your pet's medical care is kept in our hospital records and is not covered by this page.

What we collect, and why

Job applications

If you apply on our Careers page, we receive what you enter: your name, email, phone number, the position and locations you're interested in, your availability and experience, your start date, anything you write about yourself, and your resume if you attach one. We use it only to review your application and contact you about it. Applications are stored by our website host and emailed to our hiring manager.

Your hospital choice

When you pick one of our hospitals on the site, your browser remembers that choice so we can show that hospital's phone number and booking link next time. It's saved only in your own browser and is never sent to us. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located (city level), what device and browser they use, and whether they tapped a phone number or a Book online button. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We don't use it to identify you personally. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with Google's browser add-on.

Advertising and call tracking

We advertise on Google. When you arrive from one of our ads, Google may show a Google forwarding phone number in place of our usual number, so we can tell whether the ad led to a call. Google then records details such as the call's time, length, and the caller's area code. It does not record the conversation. Google may also use cookies to measure whether an ad led you to call us or request an appointment. You can control ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com.

Other services we link to

Online appointment requests are handled by our scheduling provider, Vetter Software, on its own website and under its own privacy policy. Directions open in Google Maps. When you use those services, their privacy policies apply.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information.
• We don't share job applications outside our hiring team and the services that store and deliver them.
• We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. This site is meant for adults.

How long we keep it

We keep job applications for up to two years so we can consider you for future openings, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner. Google keeps analytics data according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have from your job application, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
